VIOLATION: N. Fairfax Dr. and N. Taylor St.

This site's inaugural parking violation by an Arlington official comes to you from Pot Belly Sandwich Works in Ballston. Anybody who's visited Pot Belly knows that finding a parking spot is a bit of a challenge. That is, unless you are a parking enforcement official with Arlington County.

The following violation occurred on July 6, 2006, at approximately 2:00pm. A lowly cell phone camera captured both the parking violation and the easily seen "No Parking" sign. Note the orange cone that was placed next to the car. Apparently this parking enforcement official wanted everybody to notice his illegal parking job.

Date: 07/06/2006
License Plate: 58-261L (VA)
Car Number: 1369

  • This is not a parking enforcement officer's vehicle. This vehilce belongs to some other county department and is subject to a ticket. You are an idiot.

  • So illegal parking is widespread throughout Arlington County government? Blatant illegal parking isn't just confined to the parking enforcement unit? That's even more disturbing. Thanks for the heads-up.

What comforts me, though, is that when Arlington County bureaucrats like yourself are posting on this blog, it means that you aren't parking illegally.

If you only we could find a productive activity that would prevent you from 1) parking illegally, and 2) wasting taxpayer money...

  • hey retard that is a different county vehicle it does not belong to the police depts parking unit. Maybe you should gather your facts before making stupid websites. one could also argue that illegal parking in no parking zones creates an immediate hazard just as a speeder does. If a driver can't see a round an illegally parked vehicle it can cause a traffic accident just as easily as any moving violation.
